Summer is now in full swing with our Beach Rescue Project and  "Soles of Summer" sponsorship of the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour and we’re going to sweeten your summer even more with the debut of a new member of the Barefoot Wine family – Sweet Red. 

What’s most exciting about this new red blend is that you, our beloved Barefoot Fans, inspired the idea for the wine! The #1 request we hear from our fans across the country is the need for a sweet, soft-style red wine.  You've asked for it and soon you’ll have it!  Here’s the story behind this delicious new wine: 

Tasting Notes: Barefoot Sweet Red is a ripe and juicy wine with explosive flavors of raspberry, pomegranate and luscious cherry.  It tastes great chilled! 

Food Pairings: Fire up those grills because our Sweet Red goes great with spicy beef kabobs, juicy marinated flank steak and grilled vegetables! 

Varietals: Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Barbera, Grenache & Petite Sirah 

If you and your friends like Moscato you’re going to LOVE Sweet Red! 

If there's one great way to hold a meeting, on a surfboard might just be our favorite way to do it! Our Barefoot Ambassador Randy Arnold and his husband, Greg get on board for the first time! They are looking forward to the Na Hoku Awards for HI music at the Honolulu Convention Center. This is Barefoot’s second year as an official sponsor for the Hawaiian Recording Industry non-profit. Randy says, “Hawaiian Music is my antidote for civilization!” Each of our Barefooters select non-profits that they care about throughout North America. “Helping community non-profits raise money is the best part of our work representing the Barefoot Winery”, according to Randy.

Lisa Wu-Hartwell (Real Housewives of Atlanta), Tammi Reed, Vanessa James (The Beat Miami), and Leslie Harris promoted positivity in women and toasted the joyous occasion with Barefoot Bubbly Rose Cuvee! What will you be eating and drinking this Superbowl?

Our friends over at The Advocate have shared a perfect bowl day cocktail, the WHO DAT SAINTS SIPPER. Whether you're a Saints or Colts (or just general football fan) this drink is a great addition to your gameday celebrations. As an added bonus for all Saints fans: the Bubbly Extra Dry bottle is black &  gold (naturally...)

WHO DAT SAINTS SIPPER

Makes 1 drink in either a martini glass or sparkling wine flute.

INGREDIENTS:

• 5 blackberries or black grapes
• 1-1/4 ozs. citrus vodka
• 3/4 oz. peach liqueur
• 2 ozs. white cranberry juice
• Ice
• 1-1/2 ozs. Barefoot Bubbly Extra Dry

DIRECTIONS:

1. Place spoonful of blackberries or black grapes in a chilled glass.

2. In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, peach liqueur and  white cranberry juice with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into chilled glass. Top with Barefoot Bubbly and serve.

Hey Foot-Fans!

We wanted to share with you some behind the scenes images of singer Robin Thicke and DJ Vanessa James getting Barefoot and enjoying our Bubbly Mango Mimosas at The Beat 103.5's studios!

The Mango Mimosa is one of our Tropical Mimosas and is so easy to make!

All you need is the following:

• Barefoot Bubbly Brut
• Fresh Mango Juice

Instructions:

1) Fill a champagne flute halfway with Barefoot Bubbly Brut
2) Finish with fresh mango juice
3) Garnish with a slice of mango (or create a pulp and add to the bottom of the flute)

Delicious!
