Thanks to all who came out to the Chicago cleanup this past weekend - we had a great time! Over 150 people joined us for the cleanup at Oak Street Beach to clean up Lake Michigan's shores.  The weather was perfect, and a big thanks to all the volunteers we helped keep Oak Street Beach barefoot-friendly!

To celebrate everyone's hard work, we all headed over to Oak Street Beachstro where Mason Jennings performed a great lineup of songs, including his new song "Sunlight."  In fact, if you purchase "Sunlight" on iTunes, proceeds will benefit the Surfrider Foundation, so check it out. Thanks again to everyone who came out!

The end of summer is fast approaching, but we still have more beaches to clean.  Seattle is our next stop - can't wait to see you all there!

    This event was the highlight of my summer! It was a great time, great cause and I got to meet my favorite musical artist! There could not have been a better day! Thanks Barefoot Wines and Surfrider Foundation! I hope to see you Summer '10 in Chicago again!

    I love walking but never thought that I would love to walk on barefoot, Yes when some of my friends pointed out that I could walk like that I was too much excited to join the challenge. I was planning to walk in the beach and do the clean up with my friends and to say the truth I really enjoyed every second of the event.Yes there would be a great opportunity for all the people to go in for cleaning, Get ready we have a lot of works to be done .
