Thank you to Barefoot Wines for all the support over the years!  The Palm Beach County Chapter of Surfrider Foundation has received financial and product support from Barefoot Wines in the past, and we are excited to be included in the newest initiative by Barefoot Wines to help us save our native sand beaches in Florida.  A few years ago we decided to refuse to allow our beaches and reefs to be buried in mud-like dredged material, and after spending our entire treasury and investing countless volunteer hours on the long court battle, WE WON!   It is now considered a precedent-setting case and can be used to preserve our natural sand beaches and coastal ecosystems nationwide.  Barefoot helped with that, and we now encourage and implore everyone to help us complete the process by voting for our Challenge here on the Barefoot Wines site.  ALL the native sand beaches in the United States will benefit, but we have to do many more volunteer fundraising projects to catch up on the expense of expert witnesses, etc.  It is a large task, but with the help of Barefoot Wines and all those who vote here to help, many of Florida's most beautiful beaches and reefs will be preserved.  More specific information on the battle is at surfriderpbc.org which is the site of Florida's first Surfrider Foundation Chapter, and the chapter that fought Goliath and WON!!  Thanks in advance for your daily vote to help us.
