Volunteers from all over Texas joined us as we cleaned Lady Bird Lake right in the heart of downtown Austin. We found some pretty interesting items along the banks of the lake including some bedding, plenty of tennis balls and an awesome tricycle!
Following the cleanup we all gathered at Malverde – a local lounge – for delicious food and Barefoot Wine. Eric gave another great performance and even sang an impromptu song about Barefoot Wine!
Our next stop is Portland, OR on Saturday, August 7 where we’ll be cleaning along the Willamette River… hope all of you Pacific Northwesters can make it out. Until then, get barefoot and have a great time!
